“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” ~Nelson Mandela

More often than not, especially in Western Washington, people want to live in difficult places and I like to help with that. I inspect soils so the client understands what needs to be done for the project they have in mind. I have BS in Geology and that really helps me carry out accurate soil examinations and write up reports that are clear for all stakeholders in a given project.

I knew early on that a career that kept me indoors would never work for me. Most of my days at NGA are spent outside doing field work and I absolutely love that. Being a Western Washington native, I grew up outside, and aside from being stuck inside cutting meat in a deli for 5 years, I plan on staying outside as much as possible. My passion for the outdoors is really what drives my core values of respecting the environment, safety (be it on the job or on the mountains) and good relationships, both personally and professionally.

Outside of my professional life I am usually fishing, camping, hiking, walking my dog, growing tomatoes or building computers. Most of all I cherish spending time with my family.
